2026 Art & Poetry Collaboration
The Carrollton Artist Guild would like to invite its members and members from the Carrollton Writers Guild and Children’s Authors and Illustrators groups to come together to create a piece of artwork that pairs with a poem. One artist will create an artwork or share a piece of artwork with a writer, who will then create a poem about that artwork’s theme. Both the artwork and the printed poem will be displayed in the center’s Galleria during summer. During the celebration night, artists may talk about their work, and poets may read or perform their works live. See instructions below for artist and writer pairings.
