About Our Community
We appreciate your interest in our organization, and we look forward to another outstanding year! Since our inception on January 22, 2003, our goal has been to support public awareness of the Visual Arts. Working with the Carroll County Cultural Arts Alliance and the Carrollton Center for the Arts, we strive to provide encouragement and opportunities for artists to promote, exhibit, and sell their artwork.
Guild Meetings
Guild meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at the Carrollton Center for the Arts. “Coffee and Encouragement” begins at 6:30 followed by the regular meeting at 7:00. These meetings have a business agenda, which includes announcements concerning local and regional shows, classes, and workshops, followed by a program or demonstration of interest to members. Visitors are welcome!
Membership
As a member of the Carrollton Artist Guild, you'll receive many benefits that will help you reach your artistic goals and opportunities to serve your community through the arts.
Connect
Membership is for one year and renews in January. Beginning at 6:30pm, socialize with your fellow artists and share what you've been creating. Announcements begin at 7pm followed by an activity or presentation. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month in Classroom 3 at the Carrollton Center for the Arts. Check the Calendar here.
Participate
In addition to supporting the Guild through regular attendance, members are invited to participate in gallery events and volunteer with local charities throughout the year. Here are just some of our current opportunities:
